My Special One

There once was a lad

who never seemed mad

for his smile was kind

and it made my heart wind

His eyes always shined

when they looked into mine

We never said “hi”

We never said “bye”

Just looked each other in the eye

Whenever I’m around him,

the world dims

He shines like the moon,

surrounding me in a cocoon.

He’s so happy-go-lucky

the complete opposite of me

I wish he could see what he means to me.

He’s attracted me in a way,

it’s so cliche to say

He seems to know me,

the real real me.

I want to be with him,

but our chances are slim

I wish he could see

he bring the best out of me.

A guy like him is rare,

full of spirit and full of care

He’s sweet as can be

I wish we were a “we”

He’s my everything

my day,night

brings joy and light

If i can't have him

my world turns dim

he's the cherry

to making me merry
