A door opens into a room of thought
No beginning or end the tale unwinds
Slowly. Only to reveal you’ve been caught
By images in your very own mind
Some faces are secret others are shown
You run from fear and try to escape
Wanting to uncover the truth; unknown
You cannot hide in this barren landscape
You want to know that this world is not real,
Searching for something to explain this place
Time goes on so slow as you try to feel
For the doorway out of this endless chase
The sunshine breaks the seal of your closed eyes
And to that dream world you say your goodbyes.
