My only one

I miss you

You were the only one who made me truly happy

You were like my other half

It’s simple, I love you now more than I ever did

No matter the time of day you made sure you were always there for me

Even when I left you checked up on me, made sure I was satisfied

I just wished I never pushed you away, made you feel like there was no love left for you in my heart

When in reality, it was always you. You were my first, and I hoped you would’ve been my last

However people don’t tell you that happy endings only exist in fairy tales

You’re gone now, like a thief in the night.

You stole my heart, and took a piece of me with you

I’m sure I’ll find someone, but if they aren’t half the man you were they can keep it moving

I guess what I am trying to say is that I miss you
