My life as a dream

Location

Waking up every morning to the suns rays dancing around my curtains

Sounsof birds singing fills the air as I stare out over my little private beach

The teasing waves sweeping back and forth over the helpless sand

Baby blue sky, Salt in the air, shells decorating the sand as far as the eye can see

It's amazing to think how this one job has changed my life.

Writing songs since fourth grade and singing since I could talk,

I'd never thought I could make it this far

They always told me it was a fantasy

Only fiction, A dream.

My dream job...

I guess my life is like a never ending perfect dream.

I am a Writer.

Creative Writer.

Song Writer.

I've always had an active imagination.

They see the sky

I see a perfectly, clear blue open space, representing freedom.

They see little white clouds

I see a masive canvas with flying dragons and magical turtles flying through the air,

trying to reach the gates of heaven

Here, at my private beach, the stories dance around my head

and onto paper of mysterious creatures batteling for their lives

and falling in love or overcoming hardships.

How did all of this come to be?

It still seems so unreal to me

Though I struggled through pointless, boring essay writing in High School,

I took all A.P English classes and ended up passing with all A's.

As well as writing my own stories at home.

Of course I never stopped writing songs as well.

Songs of exes and future loves

All my hopes and dreams

I guess my life really is a dream

After all, if you love your job,

do you even really work a day in your life?

I'll ponder over that thought while I live in my dream

with the creatures of my mind to creep into my thoughts,

distracting me into yet another story.

My life is just one beautiful dream.

#One job may change my life
