My Letter to You

The letters I didn't send were for you.
My thoughts and feelings scattered on the ground.

With you, my feelings definitely grew.
When you were around I felt safe and sound.

You mistook me for a girl you love.
Your cherished memories fell out of place.

I had feelings I couldn't let go of.
The girl you loved I could never replace.

This love didn't turn out in my favor.
I always knew we could never go on.

Now, at this moment I can be braver.
But my feelings for you are still not gone.

I left the perfect letter for you on the beach.
I knew my feelings for you wouldn't reach.
