My Last Work Day at the Triangle Factory
This morning I woke up ready to work
We all sat down at our sewing machines
Our boss locked the door and left with a smirk
He seems respectable but somewhat mean
The long work day was practically done
Then I smelled something strange and it got hot
The room went ablaze as some stood still stunned
Others ran to the door but they were locked
They banged and screamed, I ran for the window
All I saw was still bodies on the ground
This made me tremble, left me in limbo
Some unfortunately hit the gates crown
How bad could it be, I took a deep breath
I let go and jumped to fall to my death
