My Last Day Without You

Even though we have been passing by each other,

like every minute in every day.

Missed calls out of wanting to hear your voice,

voicemails don't make me content.

When you are still here by my side,

seems like we have to adjust from the change in distance

This life we live in seems like a mess,

people say that they love you, but walk away as soon as they can,

but with you, I can either say that I love you mind, body and soul,

or I can lay with you.

The way that your smile reminds me of a sunrise,

as it rises from where the water meet the sky.

Your eyes shine so radiantly, they show every part of your life,

with every pain they grow brighter,

with every hurt inside Your arms hold me to your chest,

how it amazes me that my heart could beat in time with yours.

Touching your skin, over hills and valleys,

what lies are forms and shapes that are divine.

Oh, the way in which everything is traced,

how your body remembers mine when we touch,

I get when you look me in my eyes,

because now you can see every part of me.

I stop thinking, I feel unhinged about what to do when you touch my face.

Then when you call me by your name,

I fall apart, I hope then

That this will be my last day without you.
