I have a special hero

My hero is important to me

Someone I admire.

 

A hero is trusted

By many people and hated by others

People are divided on heros

 

They say that they create problems

Or they help make the world better

Standing for their morals.

 

They can have special powers

Or they can use their wits and fists

As well as weapons.

 

But there is one problem

They are just fake

Just going for the praise

Or the money

 

These are the types of heros I hate

I want my hero 

To accept for who I am

For every mistake and flaw 

I have.

 

My hero isn’t your typical hero

A typical hero is selfish or caring,

Smart or dumb, herculean or skinny.

 

This hero isn’t sarcastic or down-to-earth

Young or old, power or not.

 

My hero is…

The hero doesn’t care or need you
