If my mouth had adequate words to declare your praise,
I would never cease from speaking
Of a love more rich and complete than my heart could ever contain,
A hope that’s ever freeing
And As sit here and compose my prose,
my feeble attempts to with mortal words,
Declare the praise of the Infinite King.
Who for me both died and rose
My eyes have both seen and do declare,
the wonders of my savior,
the greatness and sacrifice of a King who would
destroy both death and despair.
Alas my hands are untrained, my mind not fit for the tasks
Of praising the one who is greater that words could describe,
The one who is Word, love and mercy will forever last.
