I’ve always wanted to be

A teacher.  

At seven my dream was to be

An Irish dancing teacher.

Then Freshman year,

I wanted to be

A social studies teacher

Because my teacher at that time

Was inspiring.

And now

At 18

I want to teach English

In South Korea,

Derived from my passion for

K-pop and

Korean culture.

This job will bring me

To a new country

And to a new culture

That fascinates me.

The ability to educate others

About a different language

Excites me, and makes me

Want to learn more myself.
