High school was a specific place of uncertainty.
Not knowing what I wanted to do, or who I wanted to be.
Eyes everywhere…Watching
Wondering when, or even if I would, every make my choice.
Well I say with this voice to those eyes that were ever so glued to the path of my fate.
Can stop wondering now because from this point, all you can do is hate.

I’ve made my decision to be in a division with people that matter.
Being that woman who can be what she set out to be …not giving one care about who’s looking at her.
Saving lives and taking care of people like no other.
Being able to say “oh he will be just fine, we’ll take good care of him”… to a worried mother.

I hereby challenge myself to become a registered nurse.
An occupation I can truly take pride in… and actually keep money in my purse.
Keep in mind that money is not a key factor in the choice that I’ve made.
It’s not about getting paid, having a maid or relaxing under a cabana shade.
I want to be somebody.
I want my family to sincerely say that they are proud of me.

I am setting my own destiny, and to all those who feel the same…
You can stand right here next to me.
For we will be victorious.
And to all the haters that will follow with those nosey eyes, watch us become the NOTORIOUS.
