My Dear Friend Fell

The Glasses were already cracked, but alas they fell

Down towards the water

Where my dear friend fell

The froth, colored pink

From the split in his head.

What brilliance he held.

Gone from his consciousness.

My mouth hung open

Wide in disgrace

I felt a tangle in my throat with a choke

But i wept in my head

Alone

At last

I tumble ahead,

I wish i were dead.
