My Camera

Location

The screen illuminates, with so much temptation,

He walks, she walks, passed by the lens,

Light glitters off their skin, clasped by the viewfinder,

Radiance absorbed by the animate subjects, and their environment, and their setting,

It follows the rays wherever it goes, shining and beckoning to desire,

A light flickers red all ‘til the very end,

Until the last shot has been taken,

And the subject has appealed to those on the other side,

Until the seconds draw to a close,

And one has reached their highest point,

That they have given their all to

The camera that once brought forth a luminous finish.
