My Burden

Anger too heavy to become words.
Anger, an exhausting burden
haunting my dreams
fist flying in my sleep
anger not satisfied
voice never raised
anger sitting in patience
afraid of what it might do,
what it might ruin.
Anger shackled down by hope,
that those words,
those actions it so longs for,
might set it free.
Anger not satisfied,
welling up in tears,
that he cannot see.
anger or grace,
the war inside me.
