My Broken Rainbow

Location

Love sometimes dies
Unlike our faith or weeds
When it broke unexpected
But one December brought me

Two people so different
but trying so hard
To stay together
although they grew more apart

Through the dark hallway
My small face peers
hurt pierces my heart
And words stab my ears

Two people so different
Hide away the hate
Under plastic happy faces
To plan out a new life to create

Today is alright
I pick up the broken pieces
Piecing back my rainbow
With all the knowing creases
