Poetry is the foundation of the universe.
It is the flow that moves rivers and streams along.
It is the ground that laughing children run and play upon.
It is the melody and harmony of the music that graces our ears.
It is the whispers of sweet nothings that pass through the lips of lovers.
It is the oxygen that our bodies take in and convert into carbon dioxide.
It is the foul stench of death, and the sweet smell of life.
Poetry is everything and nothing occurring at the same time.
