My Best Friend

Of all my fears,

I never feared,

That you would ever leave me.

From countless nights,

To endless days,

My nonsense fears,

And foolish ways,

Your gentle heart would calm me.

My knight with fur as armor,

Who slays the fear of heartbreak,

Who was not taken,

But loved with no compare.

This poem is about:
Me
My family
