My battle

Location

These thoughts and emotions running through my head;

With this numb feeling that longs to be shed.

I search for freedon, for hope, to one day prevail;

All that seems to outshine is the way I fail.

I reach to grasp a glimpse of sanity;

Because I long for your clarity.

The angels and demons claw within my soul;

To conquer the unknown battle is their goal.

But lurking in the shadows of my heart;

I pull all my fears apart.

There is strength inside me that's destined to shine;

I wait for the signal to cross the line.

I rise from the fear that tear me down;

No longer will I wither away and drown.

You left me bare as gasping for life;

For all you cause was pain and strife.

Through my struggles I've pained the fortitude to rise;

I've become empowwered through my tears and cries.

I keep my eyes on you to never let you in;

I've won this battle, I deserve to win.
