My Amelie

My Amelie, she came too me

One midsommar afternoon

A heart so free

She'll always be

The sun to my quiet moon

My Amelie, she be so alluring and sweet

Dark skin so smooth it glows

She sits upon my love seat

A winning smile, indescreet

Reaches from her tips down to her toes

My Amelie, she be breathtaking

She is the gravity that holds me down

She is the rock that keeps me from falling

She is my heart, my soul, and my being

The queen without a crown

My Amelie, without her I'm incomplete

A tragedy from which I will never recover

Left for dead, near the crow's feet

Her crimson blood on the concreate

Her smile gone forever, my enchanting lover

Who would take her away from me? Just because she loves who she loves?
