Murmurs of Goodbye

Wed, 11/13/2019 - 20:05 -- Motala

The words we say in sorrow,

They float and fade away

We’ve said and heard these words before,

This is not our first such day

Each time it gest much harder

These words we have to say

No one knows the truth, but us

We can never truly be okay

Our hearts have broken many times

Our friends must go on their way

We truly wish it were not so,

We wish they all could stay.

We can hope we’ll meet again

And so as yet, we may

When farewells are, we can know this

This shall not be the last we say

Me
