Mr. Poetry

As I am being swallowed by my own pity

And bathing in my own filthiness of my poverty,

Let me tell you

I am embarrassed….

But, my dear friend is always there to embrace me

He taught me that I am stronger than my agony, and all the pain that I am feeling

Yes, he said to me!

He said to me you are a:

Beautiful

Strong

Powerful woman!

So lady get up for you are wonderfully made…

Never had a man who cherished me  Like Mr. Poetry

That’s why I can never

never let him go

He’s been my companion since I was a little child

I spoke with confidence for he believes in me

I cry on his shoulder as he bear all my pain

I tattooed my story all over his bare skin

I guess I was his proud trophy

Mr. poetry and I have been together for 18 years

Through this relationship

I learned

To grow into this magnificent being

To let pain go through me not go through pain

To stand strong and hold my head high

As he told once again

You are a:

Superwoman!
