Moving Forward

In the darkest night

I look for a light.

It shows the path for me

I run towards but it leaves,

As I move faster I believe

that I can catch it,

but I greaves,

that I am left in a pit,

I look toward the light and climb.

Then I hear a chime

At the top

Its telling me to stop,

but I can't,

I keep going to reach a goal

That will make all people chant,

Then I can finally take a relaxing stroll.

As I move in the dark now

I fear no evils and sense no dangers,

and to them I say ciao

and all are stangers.
