Ever since I was a little girl,

I loved watching the dancers on T.V.  twirl.

I wanted to be just like them,

Dance away and win a gold gem.

Dancing is what makes me alive,

I always make up my own little jives.

I love the way I can move to the sound,

I guess you could say-I am dancer bound.

Being a dancer is an amazing thing,

We get to leap like birds with flying wings.

At the end I like the roar of the crowd

It really makes me feel so proud!
