The Most Consistent, Inconsistent Person

You can send me up to the stratosphere and then send me crashing back to Earth

You can be the nicest person in the world and then all of a sudden you will turn

Some say that you are nice only when you want to be

So I really shouldn't allow you to control my happiness or my peace

There are so many people that are more consistent than you

But they don't bring me such extrodiary highs quite like you do

But then you can be cold and distant, while they are consistently the same

Then I ask myself, why do I allow you to affect me in such a way?

You are The Most Consistent, Inconsistent Person that I have ever known

I don't know why you always have to be so hot and cold

You are The Most Consistent, Inconsistent Person that I have ever known

If I allow you to control my happiness and my peace then it's my soul that you own

I really shouldn't put all of my eggs in your basket because you will just disappoint me

I really should seek out people who treat me with kindness more consistenly

I am not saying you are bad person because you never been mean or unkind

But it can really be tough on me when you  just turn on a dime

Maybe you are the way you are because you have been hurt so many times before

Mabye your heart is guarded because you think there will be more pain in store

But this can be hard on people like me who really care about you

And those who have benefited from all of the wonderful things that you do

You are The Most Consistent, Inconsistent Person that I have ever known

I don't know why you always have to be so hot and cold

You are The Most Consistent, Inconsistent Person that I have ever known

If I allow you to control my happiness and my peace, then it's my soul that you own
