Challenges in life come up

Plans get wrecked

Times seem dark

And your head seems like it's a mess

 

We all need a little push

To go in the right direction

Something to help motivate us

When our choices feel like a big misconception

 

I have been hopeless

I have struggled to see the bright side

And when I was falling down

There was a special person who kept me upright

 

The inspiration I have today

That I use to move forward

It comes from the most amazing woman

It comes from my mother

 

As I grew up I watched her

And saw how she handled life

She got back up whenever she fell down

And she always gave the best advice

 

I wouldn't be the person I am today

If it weren't for her love

So when asked to talk about my inspiration

I talk about my mom
