Dear Lord,

I start this prayer with a word of thanks, 

for all the blessings that greet me when I wake.

I thank You that I can open my eyes,

and get up out of bed to see the sunrise.

I thank You for all the gifts You have given me, 

that will allow me to pursue my degree.

I thank You for my motivation, my opportunities, my freedom to learn,

and for the wondrous knowledge I am able to discern.

Help me this day with all I must do, 

and in all things help me bring honor to You.

I pray for courage and for wings to fly, 

so I can pursue my career goal at the FBI.

As I close this prayer in a humble way,

guide me with wisdom throughout the day.
