MoonLight

Morning light cannot compare to the silverlight that dances through my window at night.

Oceans can reflect such beauty, bathing me in solace, a memory of childhood.

Or perhaps a fading feeling of being loved, its strange to love so deeply.

Nothing compares to the comfort of the moon and peace it brings,

Loving so deeply can leave scars, but in the end, the memories healed me,

If igniting a flame was a feeling, it is that of the moon.

Growing fast in the light, the pain slows,

Holding my heart tight as the moon kisses my skin,

The moon heals, hurts, and yet it will never judge, to my moon, I Love You.
