Monster

They say I'm a monster

Others say I have no heart

The roses have wilted

The violets are dead

The demons run circles

Round and round in my head

I'm unstoppable

I'm a Porsche with no brakes

I'm invincible

I was terrified of the dark

So the darkness I became

I was scared of my own demons

So I learned them all by name

I was fearful of the monsters

So I became a monster too

In every angel a demon hides

And in every demon an angel strides
