Moments and reality

James 4:14 New English Translation (NET Bible)

14 You do not know about tomorrow. What is your life like? For you are a puff of smoke that appears for a short time and then vanishes. 15 You ought to say instead, “If the Lord is willing, then we will live and do this or that.”

 Moments

It has been a long time since this one touched a poetic paper

Life seems to have a tendency to take a run where it wants too

Months are passing by in sequence as hours turn into vapor

Until temporal time will be no more and leaves us without a clue

It seems that kids are growing way too fast as I’m slowing down

Energy did not disappear it just transferred to the youth

I know it would not last as I just seemed to have energy on loan

In a much-diminishing capacity with some pain in every move

Today is something special a day of a continued celebration

Today several thousand years ago My Lord rose from the grave

Care of the world still, dominates the strength of this foundation

As temporal’s influence lingers on until the strongest almost cave
