Mission impossible

Proverbs 21:2 New English Translation

2 All a person’s ways seem right in his own opinion,

but the Lord evaluates his thoughts.

“Mission-impossible” always turned out-right

A man had all the answers to corner someone else

Always had self in mind and no eyes for another

A life of ease so hard that only callouses are felt

Am I writing in circles? Do I know what it means?

As my pen moves over paper and words are poured out

Does it all have to make sense the moment that it fades here?

Or are some thoughts just set aside for another mental bout?

Nothing new under the sun. Did someone sit here before?

Pen in hand and paper to write really “I don’t know what”?

My analytical son will shake his head.

And call this a waste of time while proving this or that.

Memories are fading as life passes by

Time seems to disappear into shades of nothingness

Being here in quietness, not caring about a thing

Is life another dimension or just a form of forgetfulness?
