Miss You Like A Dog

I howl in my head before I sleep
Howl so loud, afraid it will be heard
Howling alone into the pillow
Scratching imaginary door to be opened

I miss you like a dog
When you leave it seems like a month
A second after you close the door
When we meet, joyful like a full moon passed

I miss you like a dog
Sniffing for your scent
Closer is better
Closest is best!
