Miss USA

Sun, 06/15/2014 - 20:58 -- WeirBr

Beauty pagents celibrate beauty

that of the mind and phisique

they celibrate talents each unique

And Miss America should resemble

that which is quintessential

"All American Girl"

But my Irish-Polish father tells me

"That immigrant" is trash

The indians will take our jobs

run our business under-ground

its bad enough we send our manufacture over there

without them coming over here

And so I ask him what it was like in Ireland for his family

why they came

he tells me all about the American dream

And I ask "why not that American queen?"

the accolade she quite deserves

the one she so obviously earned

should not be stripped for race or greed

or race

or race

or race
