The Mirror Shows

The Mirror Shows

The mirror shows hate

A liquor so often ingested

Contaminated one man

Whose thirst was never satisfied

The mirror shows love

Love for a country defeated

A superior to kneel to the inferior

Revenge was in their hearts

The mirror shows hate.

I hate the way they look, they talk, they act

They must mold to our shape

They must walk in our shoes

The mirror shows love

A narcissistic, selfish thing

Blonde and blue symbols

Of attractive, contagious vanity

The mirror shows love

But after a night of broken glass,

A shower of poisoned gas

After a million people sleep in grass

The mirror shows hate
