Mirror

Everything starts with the man in the mirror The translucent surface rippling subtlety Always there day and night  A Mimic of life and yet a shell His expressions seem familiar Staring silently ever judging   The eyes give away any semblance of peace  A crack spreads little by little  Breath revealing secrets  A Yell yet no response Desire to cross the void into reflective pool  A World within reach yet unattainable  One does wonder self worth in shattered mirrors
