The Mind's Exhale
Location
i inhale.
knots.
there are knots in my Chest.
tension runs through my veins,
snApping at each curve.
my bones,
oh, how They scream so loudly!
i will quiver.
seizing limbs,
tHey reach for a stick.
and, oh so normAlly does this stick
slide between those fingers of mine.
my wrist twitches, my fingeRs dance in an easy song
watching as the stick stains
the paper
with symbols.
Symbols to read,
to express.
a body I call mine
relaxed after the panic
that iS no longer mine.
i exhale.
