Mindmatters

Job 38:36

36 Who has put wisdom in the heart,
or has imparted understanding to the mind?

Mindmatters unless ...

Through the day to know my mind

and to invest it in re-call.

Its mysteries on common ground

and that only through a fall.

The mind cannot admit to wrong.

Its fragrance never doubts.

It knows that in creations throng

it carries lots of clout.

The power of intriguing in

and the things it can survive.

Is still the myth of the unknown

as it tries to direct all life.

Where it originates only God knows,

but the mind was there before.

When I probe for the truth to find

I run into a closed door.

For the mind does not want me to know

the things it cannot grasp.

It drives me towards depression,

that the mind cannot outlast.

The reason and the purpose

of life when  duty cries,

should be directed by the heart

and the mind should step aside.

Oh, my mind,  you’re such a part of me.

Why don't you have any feelings?

No love or compassion do you contain

only wheeling dealing.

Even through a clear devotion

you can't separate facts from fiction.

And always to my heart you are

a death-life contradiction.

There is nothing you don't seem to know

in your imagination.

Like you were in the past before

at the beginning of Creation.

But after The Fall of earth's first man

you fell in degradation.

Now all you see is flawed and cracked

under the curse that's on creation.
