Mind vs. Matter

I scare myself

It’s not being good at being bad

Though that too plays in

It’s what happens within dreams

The reality and sin

It’s the reflection of what you fear

Thought up by your subconscious

It’s what makes you happiest

Too good to be true is suspicious

It‘s minor details of who you are brought to life

Tearing you from peace of mind

It’s a nightmare from the very start

Tiny differences that you can find

It’s laced with anxiety in a heavy marinade

Toughness can’t help you at this time

It’s the darkness that cuddles

Teasing your brain at bedtime

It’s the brain I never use

That scares myself the most
