Mind Palace

She'll never hear how the waves fight against each other

Or how rain taps different surfaces.

She'll never see how beautiful the grey clouds could really be

Or whether it be day or night.

Fighting on till her sand runs out and her sun explodes,

She still hums to that  idea in her head.

That He will come and rescue her.

If she only knew the truth, that He was nowhere to be found,

But only in her library.

Mind filled with memories of Him.

Oh, how could that be?

An Angel sent from the Lord to keep a pure soul safe?

We will never know for sure.
