The Mighty ______.

Nobody would notice

The piercing gaze from above the icy path they walk

Watching over his land while they talk

He wouldn’t dare show us

-

The secrets he holds

Of treasures untold

Of the best fishing spots that he beholds

For the tradition of silent he upholds

-

From the earliest of eskimos

To the tech filled tourists now grazing

He notices he watches

Shaking the collecting snow on his long bronze feathers

Glitchy head moves to watch for prey

-

The cold sifting ice bothers him not

For his winter coat was neither sold nor bought

A strong instinct of protection carries through

Nobody would notice
