The Midnight Silence

Darkness falls over the mountains, praries, deserts, oceans and forests

Time not stopping, no way to hold back the sheet of darkness

The air becomes bitter and cold, animals taking shelter for the night

Grass, flowers, trees, plants helpless in the black, cold air

Towns become silent, roads no longer have to burden the weight of cars

No animals make a noise, no town makes a cry, no sound at all

Except for the vast forest trees whistling in the midnight wind

Sweeying to and fro with no limitations

What a peaceful midnight... Where silence is King.
