MIDNIGHT SHADOWS by Savi Jensen

MIDNIGHT SHADOWS
Midnight shadows, on the run
Bloody hands, had too much fun
Where's the daylight? Where's the sun?
I fear my life is almost done

I see the shadows, here they come
Can't move my body, frozen numb
They've come to get me, darkness from
Which they're hiding, gentle hum

I try to run, but meet the ground
Stumble, fall, still hear the sound
Frigid whispers all around
Painful memories, still abound

The dreadful irony of fate
I pray the lord my soul to take
The devil lurks at midnight late
I stand my ground but feel it quake
