Mice Home Alone

The cats left for university,

Leaving the mice home alone.

The cats were always tolerable of the mice.

Nice wouldn’t be the word, but tolerable.

So the mice came out from their holes and

Slept in the cats’ beds and

Used the cats’ litter boxes and

Ate the cats’ tuna fish.

What a world outside of the walls!

Once they finished all the leftovers,

They went out for pizza.

They played rounds and rounds of poker.

They hated the cats.
