A Metaphor of My Life

My life is a roller coaster, it starts out slow then Boom! It drops me giving me this adrenaline rush from my hands to my feet. My eyes remain shut because I never know what twists or turns it may bring about, As the ride starts to pick up speed it feels like yesterday I was that ten year old girl. My life is a roller coaster, clutching tightly on my restraint-family, friends, and memories. My life is a roller coaster, once I get on there's no turning back taking me through loops-the obstacles! I scream because I fear I will not make it through. I feel like this weightless object elevating higher, opening my eyes hoping it will soon be over. The energy I absorb from the people sitting next to me as I quickly inhale -a sense of euphoria. My life is roller coaster, bringing me to an abrupt stop, walking off it is time to start a new chapter. I must begin a new journey not knowing what to expect-different ride, different obstacles, and different people.
