Mercy

Have mercy on my soul.

For there's some things I do not know.

Written stories have gone untold.

Water the rose, over time it'll grow.

What do you call a home, that's not a home?

Lonely child, no one to hold.

Embraced changes on my own.

Forgive me, lost on a dangerous road.

My two eyes watched my life unfold.

It was me or the past, I had to let it go.

Was it worth it? Now I know.

A seed in the dirt, again I rose.

Still searching for the unknown

Have mercy onto my soul.
