Can you remember,
The tears,
The frustration,
The pure aggression,
The fits of jealousy,
Coursing through your body,
Eager to destroy everything
You’ve worked so hard for?

Do you remember
Your world falling down,
Your heart screaming,
Your eyes streaming,
Your incessant sobbing
Signifying the end of everything
You’ve worked so hard for,
Finally destroyed?

Will you remember
The tragic end,
The breaking down,
The simple turn around,
The strength to endure,
Everything you’ve worked so hard for,
Shattered on the floor,
And the courage to ignore the shambles?

Learn to love again,
My crazy darling.
Learn to trust again,
My jealous dear.
Learn to throw yourself,
Whole-heartedly,
Into every chance you get.
Remember the pain,
Forget his name,
Start a new game,
With the one you love.
