Memorial
I miss you like I’ve stopped breathing
When pains in my chest feels like bursting,
Only to inhale a lack of something
As precious as oxygen.
I am drowned in the rise and fall of careless arms.
And the salted waves of something left behind.
You’re so many facets
Several faces and hidden places,
The white between the lines,
The blank spaces
There is no air in there.
You are my place to die.
