Meekness

Proverbs 25:28 New King James Version (NKJV)

28 Whoever has no rule over his own spirit
Is like a city broken down, without walls.

Meekness – controlled power

Who is in control ... are we out of it?

That does not make sense for we’re the example

It is not a goal and hard to even reach it

Because of our denseness meekness seems a gamble

Is it not a fact that we’re always in the middle?

Is it not our hunger to have power at our feet?

In our own abatement, we always seem to nurture

our self-chosen plight quenching the call of God ’speed

We are not happy unless we control others

Even the Lord we like to manipulate His way

It’s not too shabby as it does not even bother

What our heart cannot afford as alone we play
