Mean queen

You're the queen.

And always will be.

There, in the spotlight.

While I remain still in the night.

The shadows have become my home.

I live in the twilight zone.

While your up at the top.

As I am left behind to rot.

You are brought up as I am knocked down.

All because of your beautiful crown.

Who knew a queen could be so mean?

Everyone else follows in her footsteps.

And because I am the peasant they trample over me.

Why can't they just let me be?

It's bad enough already.
