Me Vs. The Universe

You're the galaxy and

I'm just a dead star millions of

Light years away,

Baby doll, you have constellations

On your skin and the planets

Orbiting your aura,

I'm burned out, tired,

Of life and people

There's nothing to me except

Maybe the small light you can see

Vaguely in the night sky,

But please don't leave me,

You're the only thing I look

Forward to when I wake up

From my nightmares.

I give people,hope, I suppose,

For something bigger

But you are perfection in every sense

And you light up the whole sky,

Every day and night,

With the sun following you and the billions of

stars growing from your soul.
