Me and these Lonesome Blues

Too much desire is it wrong
when there is nothing in me
but the will to carry on, hold on
a little longer

Don't let those upset your mood
trying to be good, when a heart's
desire makes us all feel like fools

Me and these lonesome blues
have a way of taking me, to a
place where stars lose their shine
where people, just shine you on

For me, it's the same old song
I give myself to someone
too much desire can make me
feel I'm in this alone

The last time I saw him
he was traveling on down
some lonesome high-way
letting go of those he loves

Much too much desire is it wrong
when there is nothing in me
but the will to carry on,,hold on
a little longer, hold on,,,hold on
